Pike Lake Golf & Beach Club Leagues

No games will be played on the following days:

Memorial Day (May 27th)

Independence Day (July 4th)

Labor Day (September 2nd)

Games will be played as scheduled the remaining days of the year.

Games are played outdoors and subject to the natural weather. Games will be postponed or cancelled the day of the scheduled game 1-hour prior to the start time due to inclement weather. Lightning in the area will postpone games for 30 minutes since last lightning strike, or cancel games if necessary.

Substitute players are encouraged to participate in order to keep up with the weekly games.. Those players not on a designated team can come each week to see if a team or players needs a substitute for their team.

Pickleball, Bocce Ball, & Bean Bags are self-officiated by your team and your opponent. In the event of a disagreement regarding score, replay the point.

In the event the opposing team does not play, the team that showed up will win each match by the maximum score (11pts in Pickleball, 12 pts in Bocce, 21 pts in Volleyball, 21 pts in Bean Bags). It is each teams responsibility to find substitute players in their absence. 

Only Underhand Serves Allowed

4-6 players allowed on the court at a time.

Substitute players may enter/exit the game as needed. They must follow the same serve order as the player they are replacing.

Rally scoring - a point is scored on each serve, regardless of the serving team

First team to 21 wins the match (win by 2). Play a best of 3 series.

Rotate sides after every match

Coin flip to decide serving team at the start of the 1st match.

Minimum of 2 female players on each side during games

If all 3 ball contacts are used during a volley, 1 must be by a female player before the ball goes over the next

2 male players can hit the ball over the net

A block does not count as a contact

If all 2 ball contacts are used during a volley by male players, the 3rd contact must be by a female before going over the net. (2 male players CANNOT hit the ball over the net)
